Abelia has had several careers. She trained and worked as a social worker/caseworker, practiced as a lawyer and as a teacher, and is also an actress.

Abelia believes that all her previous jobs were not randomly selected but were a preparation by spirit for her current vocation as a clairvorant and medium.

As her psychic gifts have developed, she is able to contact loved ones who have passed away and give evidence of the contact through her psychic drawings - which she can draw prior to meeting the client - and by her clairvoyance. She is able to produce the drawings either whilst personally with her clients or long before she meets them for the first time.

She works regularly on the platform with audiences and congregations, and also sees people privately. As a clairvorant , Abelia gives public demonstrations both here and abroad.
